- Get a map of the world, and each time you by clothing or eat a food, look to see where it was made and put a thumbtack on your map. This would be a fun way to learn geography together! I'd love to try this some time. Maybe when Evie is a little older.
- Get a large bag of brown sugar and dump it onto a cookie sheet. Let your kids pretend that it is sand! This packs really well, so mini sandcastles are a breeze. I used medicine cups, tupperware lids, toothpicks, and teaspoons to let my DD create a castle today. When she was done, I put it all in a ziploc bag for next time. She loved it! (Especially licking her fingers at the end.)
